Construction Workers Luncheon
Community outreach
Our Construction Workers Luncheon offers nourishment for both the body and the soul. Every first Thursday we serve a free lunch for any construction workers who wish to attend, followed by a brief spiritual challenge from our leadership. It’s a great opportunity to get to know some of the amazing people in our community and share a meal together while growing together in our knowledge of the Lord.
Home Groups
Fellowship and growth
Home Groups are smaller gatherings of GCF in different homes around the greater Greenville area that we conduct once a month at 6pm. Their purpose is to promote deep interpersonal relationships so that unity of the Spirit can be maintained and love of the brethren can grow. The goal of each gathering is to eat together (fellowship), consider the word of God, and pray for one another’s needs.
Acts of Kindness
Helping those in need
Acts of Kindness is a ministry founded upon James 1:27:
Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
James 1:27
Acts of Kindness focuses on serving those within the church who have physical needs which they cannot meet themselves. Once a month, volunteers from GCF, go to help widows or elderly members with different household needs they cannot complete themselves. This ministry is a practical way we seek to practice pure and undefiled religion.
Good News Club
reaching young hearts for Christ
We offer Good News Club teaching from Child Evangelism Fellowship each Wednesday night for younger ages. Every Bible lesson clearly explains the Gospel on a child’s level. Because we are intentional about evangelism, the message of salvation is weaved through every part of the teaching: the memory verse, songs, missionary story and even the games! We take a break during winter and summer, so be sure to check our calendar.
