NEW HERE?

Greenville Christian Fellowship is a nondenominational church that gathers every week with three primary goals in mind.

We gather to worship

A place where God is lifted up in praise

Our first goal is to worship God. Worship is not simply a preparation for service, but one of the chief purposes for which we were created.

Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

We believe God’s house should be filled with praise, prayer, and the preaching of the word. For these are graces God has given us to help fulfill our purpose as the church. God wants his church to live to its capacity.

We seek to nurture the saints

A place to grow in Christ

Secondly, we seek to nurture the saints. The church is designed to build up people to attain a maturity in the faith. The leadership strives to “present every man mature in Christ.” God wants His church to live to its capacity.

We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ.

We encourage evangelism

A place to grow in Christ

Thirdly, we seek to encourage evangelism and gifts of mercy. Jesus Christ has commissioned his disciples to “make disciples”.

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit

Our focus when we leave the church should be on loving people to the Lord Jesus Christ. We do this through sharing the gospel and serving their needs.
